The name Iron Hawk comes from a US Army task force that operated in the Anbar Province in Iraq 2005. 2nd Platoon, A Co. 224th EN BN was a vital part of Taskforce Ironhawk. They were assigned to disarm improvised explosive devices (IEDs) throughout the streets of Ar Ramadi, which was one of the most hostile environments in all of Iraq.
Confrontation in multiple forms was a daily occurrence for this group, yet they always found a way to stay motivated, keep pushing, and accomplish their missions. Several months, losses, injuries, and close-calls later, this group still stood tall. They had disarmed more IEDs and saved more lives than anyone thought possible.
Chronic pain, addiction, and mental health present steady challenges for anyone experiencing them. It is our mission to ensure veterans have access to the treatments, care, and therapies they need and deserve in a timely manner. Fueled each day by remembering the sacrifices made for our freedom, Iron Hawk Medical engages Community Care providers, VA Healthcare facilities and representatives, and the veterans themselves.
Just like our brothers and sisters from Taskforce Ironhawk, we stand ready to face the harsh conditions ahead. We envision uniform solutions for those struggling with chronic pain so they can lead their best lives in the most efficient way possible.
